Deetail - World War II

The US and German Infantry were the first Deetail Figures produced (alongside US Civil War Cavalry).
British Regular Army
The British Infantry figures were produced from 1973 until 1989. The figures were originally produced in the stained paint style before moving to the solid green with light green accessories.
The British Assault raft used used the top half of two of the figures from the infantry set (officer and bren gunner).
The British Mortor figure was produced form 1974 until 1985. The same figures were also used on the 25lb cannon, produced from 1977 until 1978. The mortar was also made from 1994 until 1998. 1st Series       Sets

British 8th Army
The British 8th Infantry figures were produced from 1976 until 1979.

Germans
There were two series of German infantry, the first was produced from 1971 until 1989. They originally had orange bases (from 1971-1974) a textured effect and paper labels on the side of their hats, and five of the six figurs had a plug-in arm. The bases were switch to standard Deetail green in 1974, and the texturing was abandoned in 1975. The second series was produced from 1977 until 1989.

Introduced in 1976 and deleted in 1979.

Japanese
The Japanese Infantry set was made from 1973 until 1976. Originally in the stained paint style, then the solid paint. The catalogue at the time shows them in a brighter green than the green they finally appeared.
The figures were re-released in 2003 with a different colour scheme.

US
The first series of US infantry were made from 1971 until 1980, the second series from 1980 until 1989.
The Recoiless rifle team was made from 1973 until 1986.
