Deetail - Medievel Deetail Swoppets - Foot

In 1984 a third series of 'Deetail' knights were manufactured which were an amalgamation of Deetail and Swoppet knights. In the catalogue 1984 Deetail catlogue they are referred to as '15th Century Knights'.

The figures were two part, body and legs and could be swapped (hence, deetail swoppets) to make many different poses. The top half of the figure were used for both the mounted and unmounted figures.
In 1988 the mounted versions were made in gold plastic and adapted to have the large shield and were sold as "Shield" Knights. Some of the original mounted knights were also pressed into duty as mounted gold "Shield" knight which were phased out by about 1994.
