The horse figures (416, 417 and 418) were first produced in 1966 in pvc and paint, in 1972 they were adapted to fit the deetail range (pegs on horses back instead of holes, and green deetail base) and used with cowboys and indian figures. These figures were replaced with figures 778-780. There are very rare.
The horse figures below (reference 778, 779 and 780) are very common as they were the replacement to the above figures and have been produced since 1974 until now.

The mounted Indians were produced in 1972 and still available today. The most collectable figures were produced from 1972 until 1991. from 1991 production was moved to china amnd most collectors feel these are inferior to the Made in England figures.
