Question 1
How long were the Napoleonic figures produced for and homw many series were there?
Answer: From 1974 to 1979. There were only one series of all figures (French and British)

Question 2
Were they featured in all Catalogues during ?
Answer: Yes, every catalogue from 1974 until 1979.

Question 3
In the UK, on ebay, they tend to go for premium prices compared to many of the other figures. Why is this?
Answer: There doesn't appear to be an obvious reason, they were in production for five years so you would think there were alot of figures around but the reality is this isn't the case, there are much fewer sets advertised than the more popular sets (wild west, ACW, Medieval, WW II) so I guess its a simple case of supply and demand.

Question 4
Any tips on buying?
Answer: (French Infantry) Two of the French Infantry have rucksacks. These are specified on web page (Napoleonic), they also have red feather on the cap, a good quality figure will have both of these in tact. The officer comes with a French flag, there are many figures without the flag so try and get one with it.
Answer: (French and British Cavalry) On ebay, the prices vary considerably. Try not to get into a bidding war, I've seen the same single cavalry figure vary in selling price between £6 and £15 so it pays to be patient.
Answer: (British Infantry) The officer comes with a Union Jack flag, there are many figures without the flag (and sword) so try and get one with it.
Answer: (general) The figures are rare, but not that rare where one or ten figures are not availble every week on ebay. Be patient. I would also suggest they 'buy-it' now sales should be avoided, they are usually faer to high and with that little bit of patience, you will be able to buy at a much ore reasonable price.
