Overview
The Napoleonic range was produced from 1974 to 1979. The figures are one of the most sought after across the whole Deetail range, if you look on ebay you will see the they tend to go for premium over all other ranges.

History (Napoleonic Wars)
Light Dragoons
The light dragoons were used up until 1806 to cover duties expected of European hussars.
The best of the British units was the King's German Legion, which performed excellent service in the Peninsula and created history by breaking French infantry squares at Garcia Hernandez.
Hussars
Hussars are light cavarlrymen with fast horses. Russia, Prissia, France and Austria all had Hussar regiments. Britain didn't introduce Hussars until 1806 when they converted four Dragoont of the British army after 1806, when four Light Dragoon regiments were converted to Hussars.
Hussars can be identifed by there fur lined/fur trimmed jackets (Pelisse), Sabretache (flat bag) and gold/silver braided jackets with rows buttons. British Hussars were armed with Sabres and firearms.
